Little River Ramble

2024 Date: Sunday, April 21st!

Race day registration begins at 12 noon.

Please bring the signed hard copy with you on race day.

​This early season event is held on the Little River in Canton, NY next to the campus of St. Lawrence University. This is a very low key event on waters protected from spring winds by high banks and woods.
 
Race start and finish is at the Little River Boat Launch next to the Park Street (County Route 27) bridge, Canton NY.

Race preregistration is encouraged, but is not mandatory. Race day registrations will be accepted.

Race Information

Race day registration opens: 12:00 P.M.
​
First start line is at 1:00 P.M.
 
Recreational races are approximately 2 miles long. Marathon class races are approximately 6 miles long.
 
The course will depend on water conditions on race day.
 
Entry Fees:
  • Adults $10
  • SLVP Member $5
  • Student $5
  • Wounded Warrior $Free​
Race Classes

Final race classes will be determined on race day. There is no pro class, but there will be a separate college class.
 
Recreation: Men, Mixed, Adult/Junior, Rec Unlimited Open, College Challenge.

Marathon: C-1, C-2, K-1, K-2, C-4, College Challenge, Voyager Canoe.
