C-1 Men's Pro Championships & C-2 Pro Course (14 miles) the race starts with a 2 mile loop (1 mile down river  to a buoy turn, upriver 1 mile to the start) and from that point to the finish follow the C-1/ C-2 Marathon 12 mile course described below.

C-1 & C-2 Amateur Marathon Course: The course is 12 miles long, on mostly flat water. It is an upriver start from Taylor Park to a buoy turn at 3 miles at an old railroad bridge abutment. At the 2.5-mile mark there is a 100yard stretch of boulders widely spaced across the river. Depending on the water level paddlers may have to deal with strong eddy lines here or exposed boulders.  After the buoy turn paddlers return the 3 miles down river to Taylor Park and continue another 1 mile to the mouth of the Little River. Turn right, going 2 miles up Little River to a buoy, return 2 miles downstream to the Grasse River turn left (upstream) and return the 1-mile to Taylor Park and the finish. All buoy turns are right-left, counterclockwise.

Rushton 5-mile Course: The start is upriver against a mild current. At 1.5 miles turn around a buoy, return to Taylor Park and continue 1-mile downriver to a buoy turn at the mouth of the Little River and return to Taylor Park and the finish. All buoy turns are counterclockwise, right to left.
Rushton 3-mile Course (Youth & Antique): The start is upriver against a mild current. At 1.5 miles turn around a buoy, return to Taylor Park.
Rushton 8-mile Course (C-4 & War Canoe): Follow the 5-mile course, add the 3-mile course at the end.

Rushton Relay Course: The entire course is within site of the Taylor Park beach with 3-buoys spaced upstream at 100, 300 and 500 yards. There is one buoy 100 yards downstream. The first paddlers go upstream to the furthest buoy from Taylor Park and go around the buoy, return to go around the buoy downstream of Taylor Park and back to the beach. Tthe next paddlers take over and repeat the course using the 300yard buoy. The last paddlers use the 100yard upstream buoy, the downstream buoy and return to finish at the beach.
