This is one of the premier canoe race weekends in the state. There are events appropriate for the local recreational racer and teams of recreational paddlers in the relay. There is also top-level international level competition in solo and tandem racing canoes. The 12 and 14- mile courses are among the most challenging on the marathon race circuit. All races are on the Grasse River, with the start and finish at Taylor Park, Canton NY. Canoe dealer displays are available both days and a children’s playground on site. Participants will receive a race T-shirt until all are gone, register early on race day to ensure you receive a shirt. |
